Is climbing really safe?

Safety first! We have the highest safety standards with a modern and integrated safety system. In 2017, we changed into the new safety system „CoudouPro“ according to DIN 15567 climbing forest standards, so accidental unhooking is not possible. Every year the climbing forest is inspected by the TÜV and a tree expert.

Before the climbing fun begins, our trained staff give you a briefing to provide you with the highest level of safety.

What should you wear?

It climbs best in comfortable and sporty gear, which are adapted to the weather. Solid shoes are mandatory in any case – so please leave your flip flops or sandals at home. Please remember that shoes and clothes can get a bit dirty. Long hair must be tied together.

Are there any toilets as well as changing rooms and lockers?

Of course, there are toilets in the climbing forest. Changing rooms are unfortunately not available. Get dressed up for climbing. For a deposit, you can rent a locker. But it is best, you leave all valuables at home.

Where can I park my car?

Both – the parking area at FEZ and the street An der Wuhlheide offer numerous parking facilities. At major events – e.g. when the 1.FC Union Berlin plays or the Kindl stage is rocked – it can get tight. Then you either have to search a bit longer or change to public transport. Tram and S-Bahn also find their way to us.

Do spectators have to pay admission?

No. With us, only the one who climbs pays. Viewers are always welcome. If you do not want to admire your climbing skills, our climbing forest offers plenty of relaxation with a cup of coffee, soda or ice cream.

Can children under 7 years or less than 1.30m climb to?

Children of about 3-about 7 years (and under 1.30m) can climb in our 2 children courses. From a height of 1.30 m (and at least 7 years) they come independently to the securing points and allowed in our large course.

Is it possible to climb in the rain?

In principle, you can climb even in bad weather. Equipped with rain jacket, it can be climbed well and safely under the trees. But in heavy rain, storms and thunderstorms, the climbing operation must be temporarily stopped for security. If we know in time, when the bad weather front raises, you will find information on our website. Are you unsure, then call us before.
